A room dedicated to the red kite and the LIFE MILVUS project enriches the Aspromonte National Park Visitor Center located in the town of Bova (RC).
The set of elements that make up the room allows you to immerse yourself in the nature of the Park and discover many things about the red kite in a pleasant and stimulating way. The structure and graphics of the panels, as well as the accompanying texts, are pleasant for adults and children to enjoy.
A large wall houses silhouettes of some of the birds of prey that frequent the Park while various interactive panels tell, in a simple but accurate manner, who the red kite is, what its habits are, and what threats endanger its survival. A reconstruction of a nest with a family of red kites camps in one corner of the room.
A panel details the actions of the LIFE MILVUS project that the Park is implementing to reintroduce the species and to foster the conservation of many other raptors.
The room was designed and created on behalf of the Aspromonte National Park Authority by the Arts & Altro project studio with scientific support from Biodiversità sas and with the contribution of the European Union's LIFE financial instrument.
